Muditha’s research will focus on statistical methods for Patient-Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs), which are appraisals from patients about their well-being and quality of life. I will use machine-learning methods to investigate heterogeneity in longitudinal PROMs data. I intend to develop new approaches to detect potential sources of measurement errors in longitudinal PROMs data by combining item response theory models with data-driven machine learning methods.
