Mathematics - University of Manitoba
Md. Mehadi Hasan is a dedicated researcher with a strong background in Mathematical Epidemiology, Biomathematics, and Optimal Control Theory. He is currently pursuing his second Master of Science in Mathematics with a research-based program concentrating on nosocomial infections at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Canada.
With a Master’s degree in Mathematics from Jagannath University in Dhaka, Bangladesh, Mehadi has conducted extensive research on topics such as the solution approach of stiff systems and optimal control of the COVID-19 pandemic. His thesis emphasized Numerical Analysis and Optimal Control, analyzing the effectiveness of limited resources in controlling the pandemic and proposing an error-attenuating algorithm to enhance predictor-corrector methods.
