Amanda is passionate about health system reform and the intersection of where health informatics can be utilized to create positive change in the healthcare landscape. Her research interests include process improvement in healthcare, patient safety, robotics, usability engineering and human factors (cognitive impacts of the patient, physician and caregiver journey). Specifically, her research incorporates predictive modeling, data visualizations and simulation software to contextualize the trajectory across the continuum of care and the necessity of safe and effective healthcare service delivery.
