Admissions

The VADA Program provides a range of financial support to students admitted into the program:

Training Stipend

Stipends are paid out from September 1st – December 31st 2023 on a biweekly basis.

  • Master’s students are eligible for one year of funding at $9,500.
  • PhD students are eligible for one year funding at $11,500.

Conference Funding

Up to $500 can be granted annually for students to attend conferences that relate to VADA Program objectives. In order to access this funding students need to:

  1. Complete the Conference Funding Application Form and return them to the program coordinator. Funding will not be granted retroactively so please allow time to complete the application process a minimum of 3 weeks ahead of attending the conference.
  2. After receiving confirmation of approval, complete the guest/student travel and business expense claim form and return it to the program coordinator. The form and original receipts must be submitted within ten business days of the end of the conference.

Relocation Support

Funding of up to $1000 is available to support students who temporarily relocate for their practicums. Costs are reimbursed and all receipts for costs related to travel and lodging (tickets, rent, etc.) need to be submitted to program coordinator after the expenses have been incurred. If unsure about whether an expense is eligible to be reimbursed for, contact the program coordinator.
